"God is faithful and will not let you be tried beyond your strength; but with the trial he will also provide a way out, so that you may be able to bear it." - 1 Corinthians 10:13 Well, we made it. We survived the "dog days" of Summer. Now we're gearing up for the cold, snowy days of Winter. We get a little respite in this transitional season of Fall. That's usually how it goes. We anticipate that the event or the week or the season is going to be so bad that we regret its coming and convince ourselves that we're never going to make it. But God assures us that He will never allow us to be in a situation that we can't handle and that He will always accompany us on our way. Loving Father, thank you for always seeing us through and giving us hope and faith in Your Presence. Amen. "In the beginning ... God created the heavens and the earth ..." - Genesis 1:1 Have you seen one? Is it a bee or a bird? This "hummingbird moth" looks like a souped-up bumble bee or a malformed hummingbird. It's quite fascinating to watch the propeller wings jettison it around while its long, needle-like tongue dips into the flowers. We are purebred hybrids as well, going about doing our work with similarities to each of our parents, yet individually our own. Isn't God amazing? Master of Creation, thank you for this gift of life, of me. Amen. |
