The bush was losing its leaves to rabbits and other foraging animals. There would be no flowers next year if the grazing did not stop this year. We placed a wire frame around the bush so that it could grow unencumbered. Not particularly nice to look at, but it worked, and the bush is flourishing!
So I wondered, did we "trap" the bush by stunting its ability to branch out? Or did we set the bush "free" by allowing it to retain its new growth?
"But now that you have been freed from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit that you have leads to sanctification, and its end is eternal life." - Romans 6:22
